29 Power to ask for evidence of age
(1)
An inspector may require a person in, about to enter or in the vicinity of, a place at which operations of a kind authorised under a gambling
Act are being conducted, and who the inspector reasonably suspects is under the age of 18 years, to produce evidence as to the person's age that complies with the requirements of the regulations.
(2)
A person who—
(a)
fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with a requirement under this section; or
(b)
makes a false statement, or produces false evidence, in response to such a requirement, is guilty of an offence. Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty: $2 500. Expiation fee: $210.
