290 Effect of suspension
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
because of another provision of this Part, a person is taken to be registered under this Law; and
(b)
immediately before the participation day for the participating jurisdiction in which the person was registered under a corresponding prior Act, the person's registration was suspended under a law of that jurisdiction.
(2)
From the participation day, the person's registration is taken to have been suspended under this Law.
