Heritage Places Act 1993

A certified copy of an entry in the Register is admissible in legal proceedings and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, is to be taken as proof of the entry to which it relates and its contents.

In any legal proceedings, an apparently genuine document appearing to be a copy of a heritage agreement certified by the Minister, is, in the absence of proof to the contrary, proof of the agreement and its terms.

In any legal proceedings, an instrument of delegation apparently signed by the Minister will be accepted, in the absence of proof to the contrary, as proof of the delegation.

In any legal proceedings, a certificate as to a delegation apparently signed by the Council will be accepted, in the absence of proof to the contrary, as proof of the delegation.

In any legal proceedings, an apparently genuine document purporting to be a notice or order, or copy of a notice or order, issued or executed by the Minister will be accepted as such in the absence of proof to the contrary.
