Outback Communities (Administration and Management) Act 2009

Chapter 11 Part 3 of the Local

Government Act 1999 applies as if it formed part of this

Part, subject to the following modifications:

a reference to a council is to be read as a reference to the

Authority;

a reference to a public road is to be read as a reference to an area that is open to or used by the public and is developed for, or has as 1 of its main uses, the driving of motor vehicles;

a reference to local government land is to be read as a reference to land vested in the Authority;

any other modifications prescribed by regulation.
