243 Compulsory acquisition of land
(1)
The
Minister may acquire land under this section where the Minister considers that the acquisition of the land is reasonably necessary—
(a)
for the operation or implementation of the Planning and Design Code; or
(b)
for the implementation of a development authorisation of a prescribed class; or
(c)
in order to further the objects of this Act.
(2)
The
Minister may only act under subsection (1) if the Minister is acting on the advice of the Commission.
(3)
The
Land
Acquisition Act 1969 applies to the acquisition of land in pursuance of this section.
