25 Assistance in carrying out Auditor-General's function
(1)
The Governor must establish an administrative unit of the Public
Service to assist the Auditor‑General in carrying out the
Auditor‑General's functions under this Act.
(2)
The Auditor‑General will have the powers and functions of a chief executive in relation to the administrative unit established under subsection (1).
(3)
The Auditor‑General may, on such conditions as the
Auditor‑General thinks fit, engage any person to provide services that are, in the Auditor‑General's opinion, necessary or desirable to assist the Auditor‑General in carrying out his or her functions under this
Act.
