River Murray Act 2003

A provision of this Act that allows for the application or incorporation of a code, standard, policy or other document (whether by or under a condition, order, regulation or otherwise) will be taken to allow the application or incorporation of the code, standard, policy or document as in force at the time of the application or incorporation of the code, standard, policy or other document or as in force from time to time.

If a code, standard, policy or other document is expressly applied or incorporated by or under the terms or provisions of a condition, order or regulation under this Act, then—

the Minister should take steps to ensure that a copy of the code, standard, policy or other document is available for inspection by members of the public, without charge and during normal office hours, at an office or offices specified in the regulations (but the fact that a copy of a code, standard, policy or other document is not available in the manner envisaged by this paragraph does not render any relevant condition, order or regulation ineffectual or unenforceable); and

in any legal proceedings, evidence of the code, standard, policy or other document may be given by production of a document purporting to be certified by or on behalf of the Minister as a true copy of the code, standard, policy or other document.
