Authorised persons

In force

(1)

For the purposes of these regulations, a person may be appointed as an authorised person by the Board or the

Minister.

(2)

An appointment may be—

(a)

subject to conditions specified in the instrument of appointment;

and

(b)

varied or revoked at any time.

(3)

All members of the police force are authorised persons for the purposes of these regulations.

(4)

An authorised person may use such reasonable force as is necessary for the effective exercise of powers or functions under these regulations.
