23 Authorised person may search bags
(1)
An authorised person may request a person who is about to enter a declared area for a motor sport event during the declared period for that event to allow an authorised person to inspect any bag, basket or other receptacle that the person intends to take into the declared area.
(2)
A person to whom a request under subregulation (1) is made must not enter the declared area before complying with the request. Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty: $1 250. Expiation fee: $105.
