21N General amnesty
The
Commissioner may, with the approval of the Minister, from time to time declare a general amnesty from 1 or more of the provisions of this Part.
An amnesty—
must be declared by notice in the Gazette and in a newspaper circulating generally throughout the State; and
applies in relation to the provision or provisions of this Part specified in the notice, either generally or subject to limitations specified in the notice (the relevant provisions);
and
applies for the period specified in the notice; and
applies for the benefit of all members of the class or classes of persons affected by the relevant provisions; and
is subject to the terms and conditions (if any) set out in the notice.
The
Commissioner may, with the approval of the Minister, vary or revoke the declaration of an amnesty under subsection (1) by notice in the Gazette and in a newspaper circulating generally throughout the State.
