61 Bribery

(1)

A person who gives, or offers or promises to give, a bribe to, or makes any collusive agreement with, a police officer to induce the officer to neglect his or her duty, or to conceal or connive at an act by which a regulation or order relating to the appointment and duties of police officers may be evaded, is guilty of an offence.

Maximum penalty: $10 000 or imprisonment for 2 years.

bribe includes any form of inducement.
