15 Commissioner for Consumer Affairs may require information
(1)
The Commissioner for Consumer Affairs may, by notice in writing, require a person whom he or she reasonably suspects has knowledge of matters in respect of which information is reasonably required for the administration or enforcement of this Act to provide to him or her such information as may be specified in the notice.
(2)
Information required under a notice must be provided in the manner and form, and within the period, specified in the notice.
(3)
A person must not, without reasonable excuse, refuse or fail to comply with a requirement made under subsection (1). Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty: $100 000 or imprisonment for 1 year.
