16 Record keeping
(1)
A person carrying on a business in the course of which tattooing services are provided must keep such records as may be required by the regulations. Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty:
(a)
in the case of a natural person—$100 000 or imprisonment for
1 year; or
(b)
in the case of a body corporate—$250 000. Expiation fee: $10 000.
(2)
A record required to be kept by a person under this section must be kept for a period of not less than 2 years. Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty:
(a)
in the case of a natural person—$100 000 or imprisonment for 1 year; or
(b)
in the case of a body corporate—$250 000. Expiation fee: $10 000.
