Animal Welfare Act 1993

Any action or proceeding does not lie against –

a person acting in good faith – who is exercising or who reasonably believes is exercising a power or performing a function conferred or imposed on that person by this Act; or in accordance with any instructions of an officer or inspector; or a society, or a member or officer of a society, in respect of anything done in accordance with paragraph (a).
