Bail Act 1994

Where an order is made for the return of money deposited for bail under section 17, the appropriate officer must–

if that money is still in the possession of the appropriate officer, deal with it in accordance with the order; or if that money has been paid to the Public Account, give to the person entitled an order for the payment of that money or so much of that money as has been ordered to be returned–

and the amount of money so specified is to be paid out of the Public Account accordingly.
