181 Duration of control orders
A control order has effect for the period specified by the Minister in the order, not exceeding 5 years from the date on which the order is made.
The Minister may, by making an order that amends a control order, extend the period during which a control order has effect for a further period (not exceeding 5 years).
The duration of a control order may be extended under subsection (2) as many times as the Minister considers necessary.
