184 Consultation required for control order
The Minister is to consult with the Minister administering the Nature Conservation Act 2002 before making a control order affecting, or relating to, Tasmanian native flora or fauna.
The Minister is to consult with the Minister administering the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 before making a control order affecting, or relating to, any organism that is a threatened species within the meaning of that Act.
The Minister is to consult with the Minister administering the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 before making a control order affecting, or relating to, a living marine resource within the meaning of that Act.
The Minister is to consult with the Minister administering the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 before making a control order affecting, or relating to, an inland fishery.
The Minister is to consult with the Minister administering the Aboriginal Lands Act 1995 before making a control order affecting, or relating to, Aboriginal land within the meaning of that Act.
A failure to comply with this section does not affect the validity of a control order.
