208 Withdrawal or variation of biosecurity undertaking
A person who has given a biosecurity undertaking may, at any time, with the written agreement of an authorised officer – withdraw the undertaking; or vary the undertaking.
An authorised officer may, at any time – withdraw an authorised officer’s acceptance of a biosecurity undertaking, by written notice served on the person who gave the undertaking; or vary a biosecurity undertaking (but only with the written agreement of the person who gave the undertaking).
The provisions of a biosecurity undertaking may not be varied to provide for a different alleged contravention.
A biosecurity undertaking ceases to have effect if – it is withdrawn by the person who made it (in accordance with this section); or acceptance of the undertaking is withdrawn by an authorised officer.
