234 Offences by bodies corporate
If a body corporate contravenes, whether by act or omission, any provision of this Act, each person who is a member of the governing body of the body corporate, or who is concerned in the management of the body corporate, is taken to have contravened the same provision if the person knowingly or negligently authorised or permitted the contravention.
A person may be proceeded against for, and convicted of, an offence pursuant to this section whether or not the body corporate, or any other eligible person, has been proceeded against for, or convicted of, the offence.
Nothing in this section affects any liability imposed on a body corporate for an offence committed under this Act by the body corporate.
