Actions done under direction of authorised officers

In force

A person is not guilty of an offence under this Act for an act done, or omitted, by the person in good faith at the request, or under the direction, of –

the Secretary, or the Chief Veterinary Officer or the Chief Plant Protection Officer, performing his or her functions under this Act; or an authorised officer performing his or her functions as an authorised officer.
