54 Section 89 amended (Use of surplus money in Guarantee Fund)
Section 89 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:
Any surplus money in the Guarantee Fund above the amount agreed or determined under section 87 is to be distributed, with the agreement of the Council and the Minister, as follows:firstly, in the payment of costs incurred in administering the Residential Tenancy Act 1997; secondly, to the Council for the uses specified in subsection (2); thirdly, in the payment of costs incurred in administering the Conveyancing Act 2004.
The amendments effected by this section has been incorporated into authorised versions of the following Acts:Auctioneers and Real Estate Agents Act 1991;Legal Profession Act 1993.
