Land not to be transferred, &c., unless conditions of contract fulfilled

In force

The Minister shall not transfer or convey any Crown land until – all moneys payable in respect of the sale thereof have been paid; or where the Minister agrees to take a mortgage for the moneys owing upon sale thereof, the documents relating thereto have been completed and handed over to the Minister; and all conditions to which the purchaser is subject under this Act and under the contract have been fulfilled.

The provisions of subsection (1) do not apply to any transaction that consists of the exchange of lands and no financial adjustment is involved.
