Crown Lands Act 1976

Upon publication of a notice in the Gazette pursuant to sections 22(1), 23(7), or 27(2) in respect of any land –

the deposit and all instalments paid in respect of the land up to the date of the publication of the notice are absolutely forfeited; and the land is freed from the contract; and the land reverts to the Crown.
