13 Change of owner
A person who becomes the owner of a dog that is already registered, within 14 days after becoming the owner, must notify the general manager, of the council of the municipal area in which the dog is registered, in writing of the transfer of ownership. Fine not exceeding 1 penalty unit.
If a transfer of ownership of a registered dog occurs, the former owner of the dog, within 14 days after that change, must notify the general manager, of the council of the municipal area in which the dog is registered, in writing of the transfer of ownership. Fine not exceeding 1 penalty unit.
