22 Prohibited areas
A council may declare an area containing sensitive habitat for native wildlife to be an area where dogs are prohibited from entering.
The owner of a dog, other than a guide dog that is accompanying the owner, or a hearing dog that is accompanying the owner, must ensure that the dog does not enter a prohibited area. Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.
