23 Restricted areas
A council may declare an area to be an area where dogs, other than guide dogs or hearing dogs, are restricted from entering – during specified hours, days or seasons; or during specified hours, days or seasons unless they are on a lead; or at all times.
A person must not take a dog that is not a guide dog or a hearing dog into a restricted area otherwise than in accordance with the declaration. Fine not exceeding 5 penalty units.
