Salvage corps or fire brigade may not be constituted unless authorized

In force

A person shall not, without the authority of the Commission, constitute or maintain –

any salvage corps for the purpose of salvaging property at fires; or any fire brigade for the purpose of extinguishing fires, elsewhere than on the premises or land owned or occupied by that person or at which that person is employed.

Fine not exceeding 26 penalty units.
