50 Protection of public premises
On a request made to it by the appropriate authorized officer or a local council, the Commission shall provide such information or advice as may be required in relation to the protection from fire of – a place of assembly within the meaning of the Public Health Act 1997; a place of public entertainment within the meaning of Division 8 of Part 5 of the Local Government (Building and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1993; and premises specified in a licence or permit granted under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990.
For the purposes of subsection (1), authorized officer means – the Secretary of the responsible Department in relation to the following enactments:Public Health Act 1997;Local Government Act 1993;Liquor Licensing Act 1990;Education Act 2016;Crown Lands Act 1976; or such other persons as may be prescribed.
