60B Application for accreditation
A person may apply to the Chief Officer for accreditation to certify that – a bushfire hazard management plan is acceptable; or there is insufficient risk from bushfire to warrant any specific protection measures.
An application must be – made in the approved manner and form; and accompanied by any charge fixed in accordance with section 8A.
The Chief Officer may require a person who has applied for accreditation – to supply further information requested by the Chief Officer; and to verify by statutory declaration any information supplied to the Chief Officer.
