36 Transitional provision
A public notice under the former rules that was in force and effect immediately before the commencement day is taken to be a published notice, under and for the purposes of these rules, in force and having effect according to its terms until whichever of the following first occurs:the public notice is rescinded; the public notice is spent in its application.
A reference, in a public notice under the former rules that is in force and having effect on the commencement day by virtue of this rule, to live weight is taken to be a reference to whole weight within the meaning of rule 3 and rule 14.
In this rule – commencement day means the day on which these rules take effect; former rules means the Fisheries (Commercial Dive) Rules 2011.
