61 Liability for forensic procedures
No civil or criminal liability is incurred by any person, including a police officer, who carries out, or helps to carry out, a forensic procedure under this Act in respect of any thing done by the person in carrying out, or helping to carry out, the forensic procedure if –
the person believed on reasonable grounds that – informed consent had been given to the carrying out of the forensic procedure; or the carrying out of the forensic procedure without informed consent had been duly authorised by an order made by a police officer or magistrate under this Act; and the thing was done in good faith; and the doing of the thing done was reasonable in all the circumstances.
