4E Annual assessment of forest practices system
The Authority must, at least once in each financial year – assess the degree to which the forest practices system is self-funding and self-regulating; and assess the implementation and effectiveness of a representative sample of forest practices plans.
The Authority must, as soon as practicable after completing the assessment, prepare a report of its findings.
The report prepared under subsection (2) in respect of a financial year is to be included in the annual report of the Authority for the same financial year.
