4 Travel allowances
For section 53 of the Act, a relevant person is entitled to be paid, in addition to any remuneration the person is entitled to be paid under these regulations, a travel allowance for private vehicle use for the purposes of attendance for jury service at the same rate as the allowance prescribed by – clause 3(d)(ii) and (iii) of Part IV of the Tasmanian State Service Award No. 1 of 2025; or if the Tasmanian State Service Award is subsequently varied – the provisions of that award that substantially correspond to the provisions referred to in paragraph (a).
In this regulation – Tasmanian State Service Award means the award of that name made or varied under the Industrial Relations Act 1984.
