Evidence of identity and authority

In force

When exercising powers under this Act, an authorised officer must produce evidence of his or her identity and authority if reasonably required to do so by any person.

It is not necessary for a police officer exercising any power as an authorised officer under this Act to produce any authority other than that required as a police officer.
