Marine Farming Planning Act 1995

A fisheries officer who reasonably believes that a person has committed an offence under this Act may enter and search any premises used as a residence – under a warrant issued under section 134; or with the consent of the occupier of the premises.

A fisheries officer may only exercise the power under subsection (1) if the officer pursued the person without interruption from the place, or near the place, where the offence was believed to have been committed to the premises being searched.
