32 Application for transfer of exploration licence
A licensee may apply to the Minister for approval to transfer a licence.
An application is to be – in an approved form; and accompanied by the executed instrument of transfer; and accompanied by the prescribed fee; and lodged with the Registrar within 28 days after the transfer is executed.
The Registrar may extend the period referred to in subsection (2)(d) if satisfied that it is reasonable to do so.
The Registrar, by notice in writing, is to notify of an application lodged under this section in relation to a licence any person who has lodged a caveat under Part 10 in relation to the licence.
A notice under subsection (4) is to be sent by certified mail within 14 days after the application is lodged.
A person who has lodged a caveat under Part 10 in relation to a licence may, within 14 days after receipt of a notice under subsection (5) in relation to the licence, object to the Mining Tribunal against an application for approval to transfer the licence.
