The holder of a motor vehicle trader licence may surrender the motor vehicle trader licence to the Director at any time.

The holder of a motor vehicle trader licence must surrender the licence to the Director as soon as practicable after the licence ceases to have effect. In the case of – a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 100 penalty units; or an individual, a fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.
