Private Forests Act 1994

Until provision is made in relation to this Act by order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 – the administration of this Act is assigned to the Minister for Forests; and the Department responsible to the Minister for Forests in relation to the administration of this Act – before the commencement day is the Department of Forestry; and on and after the commencement day is Private Forests Tasmania.

In subsection (1),commencement day means the day on which section 2(1) of this Act commences.
