Complaints about conduct of property agents
86 Complaints about conduct of property agents
A complaint may be made to the Board about the conduct of a property agent by any person.
The fact that a person has suffered no economic loss or that no legal right of the person has been affected by the conduct complained about does not bar the person from making a conduct complaint.
The fact that the licence of a property agent was suspended or had been cancelled at the time of the conduct complained about does not affect a person's right under this section to complain to the Board about that conduct.
The fact that a person has ceased – to act as a property agent; or to carry on real estate agency business, property management business or general auctioneering business – since the time of the conduct complained about does not affect a person's right under this section to complain to the Board about that conduct.
This Part applies in relation to the conduct of a person who has ceased – to act as a property agent; or to carry on real estate agency business, property management business or general auctioneering business – in the same way as it would if the person were licensed as a property agent.
