Current

The general manager of a council is to ensure that a medical officer of health and an environmental health officer carry out any functions the Director directs the council to carry out.

Medical officers of health and environmental health officers are to – ensure that the provisions of this Act are complied with within the municipal area in respect of which they are appointed; and assist in the preparation of any reports required to be made by a council under this Act.
