Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013

The object of this Act is to protect vulnerable persons from the risk of harm by –

preventing certain people from engaging in regulated activities; and requiring persons engaged in regulated activities to be registered; and requiring risk assessments to be undertaken – in relation to persons wishing to be registered to engage in regulated activities; and in certain circumstances in relation to persons who are registered to engage in regulated activities.
