7 Employer defined
In this Act –
employer, in relation to a regulated activity, means an entity for whom a person engages in the regulated activity.
Examples of what constitutes an employer are as follows:principal contractor is an employer of a subcontractor; charitable organisation is an employer of a volunteer; religious organisation is an employer of a minister of religion.
