Termination or expiry of retail leases

In force

A retail lease may be terminated at any time before its expiry by written agreement between a landlord and a tenant.

A tenant of retail premises is required to vacate the retail premises in the manner, and leave the retail premises in the condition – that is stated in the retail lease for the premises; or that is agreed to between the landlord and the tenant.
