74 Appointment of qualified mediators
The Director is to determine the qualifications necessary to enable a person to seek to resolve, by mediation, retail tenancy disputes.
The Director may appoint the number of persons, with the qualifications determined by the Director under subsection (1), that the Director considers necessary to be mediators.
A mediator’s function is to seek to resolve, by mediation, retail tenancy disputes.
A mediator is not civilly or criminally liable in respect of the performance, in good faith, of the functions of a mediator.
