Exemption for garbage truck drivers, &c.

Another law of this jurisdiction may provide that a provision of the Road Rules that is specified in the other law does not apply to the driver of a garbage or waste disposal truck while –

the driver is engaged in the collection of waste or garbage; and the driver is unable to comply with the provision; and the garbage or waste disposal truck is displaying a flashing light; and the driver is acting safely.
