42 Starting a U-turn at an intersection
A driver making a U-turn at an intersection must start the U-turn –
if the road where the driver is turning has a dividing line or median strip – from the marked lane nearest, or as near as practicable, to the dividing line or median strip; or in any other case – from the left of the centre of the road.
Fine not exceeding 5 penalty units.
Centre of the road, dividing line, intersection, marked lane and median strip are defined in the dictionary.
