29 Appointment of corridor managers
The Minister, by notice, may appoint a person to be the corridor manager in relation to all or part of a corridor, on and from a date specified in the notice.
A person may only be appointed under subsection (1) to be a corridor manager if the person is – a natural person; or a body corporate that operates, or is to operate, for a public purpose; or a member of a class of persons that is prescribed; or a council; or a committee of a board, constituted under an Act or otherwise, that operates, or is to operate, for a public purpose; or a commission that operates, or is to operate, for a public purpose; or a trust that operates, or is to operate, for a public purpose; or an incorporated association that operates, or is to operate, for a public purpose.
There may not be more than one corridor manager in relation to the same part of a corridor.
