51 Insurance
Without limiting the generality of section 33, the Minister may issue to the corridor manager in relation to the corridor directions requiring the corridor manager to take out and maintain relevant insurance in relation to the corridor.
For the purposes of subsection (1), relevant insurance includes, but is not limited to including, insurance in relation to – claims by a person or the Crown in relation to the condition, use or occupation of the corridor, including claims in relation to personal injury, death or property damage; and damage to land within the corridor and any infrastructure, fixtures, chattels or improvements on the corridor.
