Amendment of statement of claim without leave

In force

A plaintiff may amend a statement of claim without leave once –

if a defence has been delivered, within 10 days after the delivery of the defence or the last of the defences but before filing and delivering a reply; or if a defence has not been delivered, within 28 days after the filing of the last notice of appearance by a defendant.
