Amendment of set-off or counterclaim without leave

In force

A defendant who pleads a set-off or counterclaim may amend it once –

if a reply has been delivered, within 10 days after the delivery of the reply or the last of the replies but before filing and delivering a rejoinder; or if a reply has not been delivered, within 28 days after the delivery of the defence pleading the set-off or counterclaim.
